fish fence
any structure made of wood, brushwood, mats, etc. used to catch or direct fish into traps. These may be in the form of a net narrowed inward to prevent fish finding the entrance again, to elaborate labyrinths. The general base form is triangular or heart-shaped, with complex fencing and multiple base forms in a labyrinth
